The ‘All the Lovers’ singer – who has been dating model Andres Velencoso since October 2008 – admits her recent recording sessions for new album ‘Aphrodite’ were the first time he has seen her in “work mode”, but the Spanish hunk wasn’t fazed by her “freaking out” over the record.

Kylie Minogue : “The big difference in our relationship now is that he’s seen what I’m like when I’m working. I’ve gone from being all relaxed to going back into full-on Kylie-at-work mode, having meltdowns every few hours and freaking out and him having to deal with it. Beach Boys reunion a no go says Love

Mike Love of the Beach Boys has denied any rumours that Brian Wilson will be rejoining the band for their 50th anniversary.

On a statement on their official website Love tells fans that ‘The Beach Boys continue to tour approximately 150 shows a year in multiple countries. At this time there are no plans for my cousin Brian to rejoin the tour. He has new solo projects on the horizon and I wish him love and success.

‘We have had some discussions of writing and possibly recording together, but nothing has been planned. I, as I’m sure he is, am proud and honored that The Beach Boys music has endured these 50 years, but felt the need to clarify that there are no current ‘reunion’ tour plans.’ Read the rest of this entry »

The X Factor judge – who is currently in Australia preparing for the birth of her first child with British boyfriend Kris Smith – claims she never saw a baby in her future until she became pregnant.

Dannii Minogue : “I just never thought it was something I would do. I had never been broody. No clock was ticking. And I would never have wanted to do it unless I was in the right relationship. He felt like the one.

WORLD-RENOWNED DJ Fatboy Slim will be spinning the decks tomorrow at the Fifa Fan fest at St George’s Park and Cubana.

Fatboy Slim (aka Norman Cook) has come a long way since starting his career as a member of the Housemartins, best remembered for their 1986 number one hit a cappella version of Caravan of Love.

Once the group split, Cook became involved in a number of projects.

The Backstreet Boys boycott BP

The Backstreet Boys join popular hard rock band KORN to boycott the purchase of BP oil. Currently on a 35+ North American tour in support of their new album, THIS IS US, BSB promises to embark on a BP free tour.

“I’m devastated by what I’ve seen first hand and on the news” says Nick Carter. “I’ve always been a marine activist and seeing pictures of oil-covered animals breaks my heart.”

Carrie Underwood to marry hockey star Mike Fisher in July

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are getting married in July, the Ottawa Citizen has learned.

The specific date and location remain under wraps and that seems to be fuelling speculation and gossip about the high-profile nuptials between the singer and hockey player.

On Wednesday, an agent representing the Ottawa Senators centre dismissed Internet chatter that the couple are bickering over wedding plans and they’ve postponed the wedding.

OK! magazine said that Underwood and Fisher have been facing off in a “last-minute” wedding showdown, adding the couple were forced to move the date of the ceremony to the later half of the summer, rather than in June. Read the rest of this entry »


Neil Young’s ‘Greendale’ becomes a comic

The Neil Young album `Greendale` has been made into a comic book.

Writer Joshua Dysart and artist Cliff Chiang have adapted the storyline of the concept album into a 160-page comic.

The 2003 album, which Neil Young and Crazy Horse performed as a complete piece, was about the environment and corruption as seen through the lives of the Green family.

The comic book centres of Neil’s musical character Sun Green. Young worked with Dysart on the project and approved the comic book before it was published. Read the rest of this entry »

Peter – who split from Katie last May – said: ‘You know, the whole situation was weird. The whole relationship was so quick and so fast and when I look back on it, It wasn’t a natural process.

When it comes to the interior design of her future house Pixie Lott would follow in the footsteps of the International Man of Mystery and have a psychedelic pad:

“I’d like to go really crazy and have random clashing things. Like one leopard-print wall, one green wall, one pink wall and loads of antique weird stuff hanging from the ceiling. A bit like an Austin Powers house.”

While she may prefer her decor to be hallucinogenic, she’s staunchly anti-drugs:

“I haven’t really thought about [fronting an anti-drugs campaign] to be honest, but it’s definitely something I would do because it’s an obvious issue… The way I’ve been brought up, my friends and my outlook on life have meant that I’ve avoided the traps of fame.
